The American Cancer Society Colleges Against Cancer is a nationwide collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to saving lives from cancer by initiating and supporting programs of the American Cancer Society in college communities.

The main aim of the African Student Union is to unite all students of African descent on Capital University’s campus. This unity helps promote and maintain African culture on campus. The organization is open to students of all descent. The goal of ASU is to emphasize, educate and appreciate the culture of the African Continent. ASU will be sharing their cultural experience through their education, activities, and community involvement. Africa, as a continent represents different countries and each country, is very different in terms of culture. ASU recognizes these differences and heads towards bridging the gap between students from various countries in Africa to extending beyond our horizon.

Alpha Phi Omega is a national coeducational service organization founded on the principles of Leadership, Friendship and Service. It provides its members the opportunity to develop leadership skills as they volunteer on their campus, in their community, to the nation, and to the organization.

Alpha Sigma Alpha is a national women’s sorority that was originally founded at Longwood University in 1901. Brought to Capital’s campus in 2012, Alpha Sigma Alpha has thrived as a sorority that aims to develop women of poise and purpose. With three national philanthropies, Alpha Sigma Alpha members love to give back to their community through service and charitable giving. Some of our favorite events that we hold on campus include the ASA/Phi Psi volleyball tournament in the fall, Special Olympics Polar Plunge in the winter, and our annual Dessert Auction in the spring.

Beta Beta Beta National Biological Science Honors Society! Here, it is our mission to promote undergraduate research and scientific discovery. We have biweekly meetings, panels, service projects, and more! Since its founding in 1922, more than 200,000 persons have been accepted into lifetime membership, and more than 626 chapters have been established throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

CapaThon is a student ran organization that works with Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Children’s Miracle Network to put on a Dance Marathon. The organization will do many different fundraising events and the one-day Dance Marathon during the school year. All money raised will go to benefit the kids at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in the hematology and oncology units.

The objective of this club is to get students involved in pro-environmental activities through outdoor recreation, volunteer and community outreach, and education. Students will be able to enjoy nature and further develop environmental consciousness.

The OEA Aspiring Educators (OEA-AE) is a unique community within the Ohio Education Association (OEA) supporting undergraduate and graduate students as they prepare for careers in education. This community is active on Capital University's campus, providing members with the support they need to complete their education training and empower them to be active, successful and visible members of their profession.​ The Capital University chapter of OEA AE welcomes all students who have an interest in the field of education! 

CSO is an inclusive faith-based organization. While we are grounded in Catholic theology, we are open to all students. We strive to create a safe community where students can talk openly about their faith, learn from one another, and strengthen their relationship with God. Join us for our weekly Bible study and stay tuned for our fall/spring retreats, service opportunities and social events! 

Circle K International is the college level of the Kiwanis family, and we focus on service, leadership, and fellowship. Our mission is to provide service projects and fun activities for our members while helping them develop into leaders.

Delta Phi Epsilon was founded in 1917 on the values of justice, sisterhood, and love at the New York University School of Law. This is an organization that works day in and day out to uphold these values in our everyday life. DPhiE is passionate about the events we hold every semester in order to raise funds and awareness for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), the Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD), and the Delta Phi Epsilon Education Foundation, our three philanthropies. This sorority believes in bonding through our similarities, while teaching and learning through not only accepting our differences, but celebrating them. We believe in diversity and inclusion, and it is of the utmost importance that each sister embraces her uniqueness and finds a home on campus. We support ourselves, each other, and our community through strengthening our bonds of sisterhood and offering lifelong support. This is a life-long sisterhood where anyone can find the love they deserve!

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional business fraternity that is open to all business majors! As a unit, our brothers work together to build our professional and social careers. We strive to give back to the community, build our network, and promote ourselves as upstanding business professionals while building great relationships with our fellow brothers. This organization is internationally recognized as one of the most prestigious in its category.

Ebony Brotherhood Association, otherwise known as EBA, is an Office of Diversity & Inclusion affiliated organization. EBA's mission is to support and enhance a positive image of Black men & women at Capital University. Many know Capital University is a predominately white institution. Therefore, EBA was designed to be a proud and visible place for representation for those most underrepresented in Capital. The members of EBA work to fulfill its mission through different programming each year. Our programs emphasize the overall well-being of our members and community- at large through community outreach, mental health awareness, and ally-ship with various campus community members. Many of our events are educational, covering various cultural and socioeconomic issues, yet are enjoyable and memorable for our Black community.

There is a common misconception that EBA is exclusively for members of Black men only. This couldn't be further from the truth. We feel that it is of the utmost importance to be a safe and welcoming organization for ALL members of our campus community to help us uphold the missions and values of our great organization.

The Interfraternity Council of Capital University promotes closer working relationships, encourages among the member fraternities the ideals of self-governance, education, and unity, and upholds the values of Capital University and the Greek community at-large.

Founded in 1869 at the University of Virginia, Kappa Sigma is the largest social fraternity in the world. We stand by our four pillars: Fellowship, Leadership, Scholarship, and Service. The Tau Mu chapter of Kappa Sigma was chartered in the spring of 2015. Annually, our chapter participates in the Kappa Sigma Military Heroes Campaign, as well as host several formal events. The Kappa Sigma Fraternity will better your college experience and opens the door for opportunities, unlike and any other organization.  

The purpose of the Capital University Chapter of OCMEA is to provide students (especially music education majors) with an opportunity to interact with current music educators and professionals; learn from others in a way that goes beyond the curriculum; provide mutual support in our academic and musical studies; provide options and connections for post-graduation; and develop individual bonds within the music community on campus.

Performing Arts to Serve Others is a student-led organization dedicated to spreading theater through acts of service.

Phi Beta Fraternity is the only national professional fraternity that encompasses all of the arts. While other fraternities specialize in theater and music, Phi Betas treasure their diversity and recognize that artists of all kinds can learn from each other while supporting each other professionally, artistically, and socially. One of the main aims of our organization is to promote the best in the creative arts and to develop each member both as a person and as an artist. We believe in giving back and offer opportunities both nationally and on the local level to serve your community.

The Ohio-Xi chapter of Phi Kappa Psi is a social fraternity founded in 2010 at Capital University! The goal of this organization is to help better men through the great joy of serving others and to help prepare them for their future in the professional world. 

Phi Sigma Sigma promotes friendship and cooperation among collegiate women of all races, creeds, and religions, to raise the standard of academic ideals, and to promote philanthropic endeavors.

The Pre-Health Association aims to provide a supportive community for individuals interested in the field of healthcare, including but not limited to students studying in a pre-health specialty through conversation, events, resources and opportunities. 

We are a space of growth and support for all students interested in the healthcare field!

The Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) at Capital University is a dynamic program designed to develop leadership skills, military knowledge, and physical fitness. Our ROTC cadets balance rigorous academic studies with military training, preparing for rewarding careers as commissioned officers in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Sigma Alpha Iota is an international professional music fraternity dedicated to encouraging, nurturing, and supporting the art of music. The goal of SAI is to stand for the highest musical scholarship, for nobility and uprightness of character, and for the maintenance of friendly and unselfish relations among women and gender-nonconforming musicians in the musical profession. Anyone who identifies as a woman or as gender-nonconforming and has one credit of music (being a music major is not required) is welcome.

Sister Network is an organization that was created to empower women on campus and encourage women to take part in service and personal development. 

The mission of the Somali Muslim Student Organization is to positively impact the perception of Muslims on campus by promoting the understanding through the educational programming.

Student Athlete Advisory Committee or SAAC, is an organization at Capital University that focuses on the well-being of student-athletes and the promotion of Capital Athletics. SAAC is an NCAA supported organization that aims to create a successful environment for all students on campus that decide to partake in campus athletics. Participation in a Varsity Sport at Capital University is required for membership, but promotional events are open to all students. Recognizable events and promotions from SAAC include, the Annual Dodgeball Tournament, Pop Tab Collection for Central Ohio Ronald McDonald House, and Game Day Shirts. Student Social Work Association (SSWA) is a student organization focused on helping social work majors and minors apply what they're learning in classes and advocate for issues both on and off campus. We also host events throughout the year that all are welcome to!

We provide exceptional service to collegiate bands and promote equality and diversity, including empowering women in the band profession. We cultivate leadership, educational achievement, music appreciation and community development.

The Interfaith Council seeks to uplift students’ religious and spiritual traditions, especially those who are otherwise without representation on campus, by integrating spirituality with academic life while promoting relationships, peace, and understanding of all faith and spirituality traditions.

The goal of the Women’s Empowerment Alliance is to advocate for marginalized groups, break down gender roles and the stereotypes of both femininity and masculinity, open discussion regarding relationship violence, and take action towards equality. Fulfillment of these purposes will occur through weekly discussion, the hosting of events and programs both on and off campus, and fundraising.
