Finance is a unique major in the School of Management and Leadership in that it leverages the professional knowledge of business and finance and the more traditional, liberal arts knowledge of economics. Success in this program and in this career requires a passion and interest in the subject. Students need solid mathematics skills and need to be comfortable with economics and financial analysis skills and have a good grasp of related business areas. Graduates are working in various industries, including financial institutions like major banks, insurance companies and mutual funds; in corporate finance, brokerage houses, financial consulting firms and government agencies.
Capital’s School of Management and Leadership (SOML) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
